Great news for Scav players in Escape from Tarkov - recent technical updates have aimed to fix loading issues during raids. Released yesterday, the update isn't substantial but includes key improvements, including fixing stuttering animations in various locations for both players and bots, and resolving loading problems for Scavs in certain instances.

This issue was particularly prevalent on the Streets of Tarkov map, which should no longer be a loading problem for Scav players. However, it's still unclear if this fix was entirely successful, as some players are reporting continued issues post-update.

Moreover, fresh details have been revealed about the forthcoming standalone, session-based FPS, Escape from Tarkov: Arena. Battlestate Games' head, Nikita Buyanov, has described Arena as "mediocre" and positioned it as a "mid-core game" designed to garner more players for Escape from Tarkov.

The Arena will be free for those who've purchased the priciest Tarkov version, Escape from Tarkov: Edge of Darkness Limited Edition. Otherwise, Arena can be pre-ordered, with the bonus of Ryzhy’s gear preset from the Chronicles of Ryzhy series.
