Recently, the Spokko studio, a part of CD Projekt, released The Witcher: Monster Slayer, a mobile AR adventure. At its core, it largely resembles the popular Pokemon GO; only here, instead of running after monsters. The official premiere took place on July 21st, and the release was not without issues.

Many users could not log into the game for quite a long time (on the order of several hours). Others reported that their progress was reset. The luckiest ones got a higher or even maximum level before they had enough time to really play the game.

According to Discord, about 4000 support tickets have been submitted by players. At first, many expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the developers did not provide an answer and did not respond to emerging problems. However, according to the latest information, the studio has received all the error messages and is working on fixing them. In particular, some users have got emails with a proposal to downgrade and lower skill points to the desired level. How soon the developers will do it is yet unclear.

Although very little time has passed since its launch to judge its popularity, the game is already in the top 100 downloadable projects on the App Store.
