The Division 2 review
Division 2 is an open-world online RPG. Tom Clancy's The Division® 2: The fate of the world depends on you leading a squad of special agents and restoring order in an epidemic-stricken Washington DC.
The events of Tom Clancy's The Division 2 take place six months after the epidemic in New York. After a short intro, the hero is sent to the main headquarters of the government – the White House. In Washington there is devastation, and lawlessness, and you have to act as a local "sheriff" and lead a conditional police mission to restore order in the city.
True, the mission has its difficulties: there are very few resources, some colleagues have died, and you are introduced to the world as a loner. A real jungle has sprung up on the streets, and bandit groups, despite clean firearms, increasingly resemble primitive semi-feudal kingdoms, where half of the population is real madmen.
Washington was divided into three gangs. "Hyenas" resemble the fighters of drug cartels, without a clear hierarchy. They are rude, aggressive, cannot live without bestial violence. At some point, the forces of law and order ceased to contain them, and in the end, it led to what happened.
Catching the last rays of the setting sun on the streets of Washington in Photo Mode is a pleasure. You'll want to take screenshots in Division 2 more often than in any other MMO game. Bathed in warm sunlight, Washington DC, full of vibrant greenery sprouting through the concrete of a dilapidated metropolis, brings back memories of the melancholic landscapes of The Last of Us and other similar projects. Beauty, of course, is not the main thing, but the riot of colors flickering in the sight takes your breath away. Although some players liked the cold New York much more.
The convenient controls of Divison:2 will gladly impress you. The controls are with a joystick, or usual WASD buttons will make your game process easier and more pleasant.
- The setting refreshed the gameplay;
- Increased complexity in an amicable way;
- Many small changes.
- Some of the skills remained useless;
- Ineptly stretched timing.
