Apex Legends Developers Try to Stop Employees' Harassment

The company developer of one of the most popular games Apex Legends tries to stop fans and players from harassing employees. Respawn Entertainment has released an official statement asking the players to leave the development team alone. While the game developers are working on numerous projects, it looks like only the team of Apex Legends became the center of negative attention from the players.

Respawn Entertainment is known for its Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. However, millions of players know them from the Apex Legends game. Apart from numerous grateful fans, there are those who prefer to spread their disappointment to the developers. Their activity forced the company to make an official statement via its Twitter page.
In the statement, the company says that the part of the team is under constant pressure from players. Some highly active fans are reaching Respawn Entertainment employees to express their feelings. The company says that they still welcome constructive criticism if it is valuable and unique. Yet, the line between feedback and simple harassment can’t be crossed. The company reminded players that they don’t tolerate threats that players keep sending them. They were reminded that they do everything to protect the team from physical danger too.

We are not sure what actions forced Respawn Entertainment to get in touch with their fans and players. Perhaps it was caused by a specific incident that happened with them. This is not the first time that this developer faced issues with the inappropriate behavior of the players. For example, Santa Monica Studio which developed God of War Ragnarok made a similar statement about respect to their team back in July.
