Apple Music Replay 2022: Review Your Musical Year
2022-02-21

As 2022 is well into February, it’s time to get insights into your 2021 and the music you’ve been enjoying throughout the year. On Apple Music, you can now see how your musical tastes evolved during 2021 and early 2022. The Replay is available within your Apple Music or iTunes app.
Under Replay, Apple Music shows you your Top 100 lists formed from the music you’ve been listening to throughout 2021. This summary shows 100 songs you have been listening to the most often in 2021. There you can also find your Top 10 albums and the list of artists you’ve given the most time that year. The ranking is probably based on both how frequently you listened to these tracks and how recently they have been added, with maybe some adjustments for tracks that were released that year, so you couldn’t have enjoyed them earlier.
To take a look at what you’ve been listening to, open your Apple Music app on Mac, iOS/iPadOS, or Android, and go to the “Listen Now” tab, then scroll it down to the bottom. Similarly, you can find it in iTunes for Windows. On platforms that don’t support iTunes or Apple Music apps, you can follow the link and see and hear your year summary on music.apple.com. You will have to authorize, so you can listen to the tracks in your browser.
The insights work even if you haven’t added the tracks you’ve been enjoying to your library at all, or you have already deleted them. The carousel with these insights also features your Replays for your previous years. So you can compare how your lists change with time, or they just don’t, if your tastes are conservative.
Can you already see your Replay 2022 playlist? Are there any surprises for you that you didn’t notice while enjoying your favorite tracks? And what about nostalgic feelings provoked by your earlier Replays? Tell us what you feel in the comments if you please!
