Recent reports hinting that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 would be incorporated into Game Pass have now been formally verified. As previously speculated, the first-person shooter game will be accessible to Game Pass subscribers starting July 24.

With the addition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to the Game Pass, subscribers can enjoy a single-player campaign, a cooperative Zombies mode, and a PvP multiplayer feature. It's assumed that the game will not be part of the Game Pass Core Library.

Sources indicate that Modern Warfare 3 isn't the sole Activision game heading to Game Pass in the near future. Additional titles expected to join the platform include Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2.

In addition to Modern Warfare 3, more Call of Duty games are anticipated to be integrated into Game Pass for the subscribers, although the timeline for this remains uncertain. It has also been announced that the eagerly awaited Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be instantly available on Game Pass upon its release in October (at least for certain tiers).
