Dead Island 2 Gets Early Release Date

The highly anticipated sequel to the popular zombie action-adventure video game Dead Island will be released earlier than originally planned. In an announcement made by Deep Silver, the game's publisher, Dead Island 2 will now be available to the public on April 21st, 2023. 

Dead Island 2 is set in California and follows the events of the original game, which takes place on the fictional island of Banoi. The latest installment of the franchise will feature an all-new cast of characters who are attempting to survive an outbreak of a virus that turns people into zombies. Players will be able to explore an enhanced version of the open-world environment from the original game and can engage in a variety of activities, such as crafting weapons and building fortifications. 

The game will also feature a four-player co-op mode, which allows players to join forces and take on hordes of zombies together. Additionally, the game will include dynamic events, where players can team up with NPCs to complete objectives and gain rewards. Deep Silver has also announced that the game will feature various types of enemies, including human survivors, feral zombies, and mutated creatures.

While the game was originally scheduled to launch on April 21st, Deep Silver is confident that they can get the game ready for an earlier release date. The company has said that the earlier launch date will give them more time to ensure that the game meets their quality standards.
