Epic Games has pulled off Fortnite’s latest live event dubbed ‘The End,’ which was truly breathtaking in scope, impressively tech-wise, and overall crucial in terms of the game’s ongoing story. Featuring UFOs, Dwane ‘The Rock’ Johnson, the display of a new map, and a lot more, the Fortnite universe has gone through a major transformation as the event unfolded. 

The Fortnite Chapter 2: The End event ended triumphantly, that’s a fact. After months of guesswork and tricky Instagram hints, Dwayne Johnson has finally been unmasked as the game’s heroic The Foundation. So, what exactly happened in the Fortnite chapter-ending live event? It all began on Saturday, December 4th. Players got to join the event in groups of up to 16 people, after waiting in a digital line before the show. These groups of players were tasked to slay the Cube Queen, zombies, and UFOs. Some time later, none other than Dwane Johnson showed up to save the players and… flip the island, because why not?!

As of today, the devs behind the game haven't officially announced the exact date for Chapter 3 to arrive, but from a leaked trailer, we can definitely say the shiny new island is here to stay, bringing along a treasure trove of new features.
