Live streaming on YouTube Becomes Much Easier
2022-03-23

YouTube has been working on upgrading the live streaming feature on its platform. This form of entertainment has become one of the most popular on the website, as developers want it to be a rival to Twitch. Live streams are currently hosted only by one person, but the latest update gives new opportunities to the hosts.
Now, you can add guests to your streams; you can choose to do that before the live stream through a simple link. The user information will be hidden during the video for the safety of the hosts. Unfortunately, guests won’t have access to analytics, as only owners will be able to see the views counter and ban different comments.
With this update, the YouTube team hopes to evenly divide the workload that comes with holding a stream. This type of live streaming involves a lot of thinking because the host needs to control everything that goes on the screen and at the same time interact with the public. However, if the guest streamer takes on one of these responsibilities, it will be much easier to make the live stream.
You can see that the channel is live streaming when it has a red ring around the profile picture. Moreover, developers plan to implement cross streaming, when hosts will be able to redirect their viewers from live streams to the original channel. To access this function, you will need to have at least a thousand subscribers. Of course, you also need to be free of different strikes due to community guidelines.
To make live interaction more interesting, in future updates, the possibility to send in questions will probably be added. Livestreaming is a great way to connect creators and viewers, allowing you to know your favorite blogger better. Hopefully, we will see these features in work pretty soon.
Do you often join YouTube live streams? What do you think they lack? Please, share your ideas in the comments below.
