Netflix has recently announced two new features which will help users share accounts with friends they don’t live with. The testing is up in Costa Rica, Chile, and Peru.

By paying an additional fee, you can add a new profile or the sub-accounts, and then transfer your viewing history to the thing. It will include all of your recommendations, lists, and favorites. This feature is really helpful as you won’t have to worry about losing the information you’ve built on the previous account. We all definitely have a pretty long watch list that needs attention. Netflix introduced the profile system back in 2013 when users had problems with understanding who’s watch history is who’s.

Previously, the company has taken into account the fact that there are a lot of people who tend to use profiles of those who they are not in contact with. Moreover, Netflix wanted to reduce password sharing, which led to fewer subscriptions over the years. To fight it, the app asked to verify the account owner on the device. Currently, Netflix has three separate plans that can include up to 4 people.

The company wants freeloaders to sign up for subscriptions or, in case of having an additional profile, to get profit from creating a new one. These updates seem helpful in the long run, as Netflix has become one of the main sources of entertainment during quarantine. You can enjoy numerous popular shows, and many local studios are working with the company to create original content.

Netflix is striving to make its service comfortable and user-friendly to new audiences. The library of the platform can suit the tastes of many people, and new content always gets added.

Do you use Netflix streaming platform? What subscription plan do you think is the best? Please, share your opinion in the comments below.
