Snapchat has made an announcement promising innovation to its Dynamic feed. The new feature is called Dynamic Stories and serves the purpose of highlighting new information that certain users are likely to find interesting. It will mostly be used for the latest happenings from across the globe. Such dynamic stories will be created by the platform based on information provided by verified publishers posting on the web. The feature is currently in testing in a number of markets. More countries should expect to get it soon, although no details are currently available as to when to expect it.

Users in the US and the UK as well as India and France are already testing the Dynamic Stories feature. The Indian version relies on RSS feeds from Snapchat’s partners to create content in Hindi, English, and Marathi using the new format. The arrival of Dynamic Stories was announced in a press release on Tuesday, the 12th of April. If you are in one of the countries that have been included in the testing list, you should see real-time updates of your stories in your Dynamic feed. Snapchat has plans to onboard more partners to supply it with verified content in a variety of languages.

The list of companies working to make Snapchat’s Dynamic Stories happen in the US is quite impressive. It includes titles such as The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Self, Vogue, TMZ, Vice, and more. The exact sources depend on your geographical location, which means users in France will be getting Dynamic Stories based on French publications. This is just part of Snapchat’s recent initiative to make the platform more engaging. Recently, it has also added the ability to share videos directly via YouTube. Do you think the company is headed the right way? Post a comment below this article to let us know your opinion on Snapchat’s latest developments.
