What Can We Wait for in Apex Legends Season 12

Season 12 is on the way, and it will be bringing a lot of exciting stuff, for example, the 20th character. Despite that, Respawn still has a lot of things underway to keep the game balanced and entertaining.

Reworking characters is not an easy task, as the developers have to make sure that anything they change doesn’t affect the original story of the subject.

There are rumors about what can happen in Season 12, but we ask you to take note that changes mentioned in this article are only guesses and have not been confirmed yet.

Crypto got the ‘title’ of the least popular character in Season 11, so the question of adding buffs appeared on the table. The developers are still not sure what changes can be made, but in the upcoming season, rumors suggest that he can get his own Collection Event or even an Heirloom.

Pathfinder may undergo a Passive’s rework in this season because players have been discussing his abilities for quite a while now.

The devs are also thinking about nerfing Gibraltar. The character is currently a “must pick” with his set of characteristics. The changes might involve his shield to make it less powerful, so the team play becomes more exciting.

Respawn has mentioned previously that they will be taking a close look at the Legends that go under “reveal meta.” For example, Bloodhound stays with his stable high pick-rate, but Seer remains at the bottom of the list for players, so he might be getting a rework on the detonation delays. The developers want the characters to have equal play-time without ruining the overall balance of the game.
