Pokémon Masters review
Pokémon Masters is a game in the genre of role-playing games for mobile phones, which came to market in 2019 from the famous development company DeNA. The legendary universe is now in your mobile phone, and each Pokemon has its own sync pair.
Plot
The plot of the game has ten chapters. An artificial island called Pasio has been created in the Pokémon universe, where heroes from all over the universe have gathered to take part in a mega-tournament.
On this island, Pokemon with their trainers have a special connection. They form so-called synchronization pairs. Over time, more and more trainers will join the player. Some of them join according to the plot, and some need to be knocked out of the loot boxes.
You can also make friends with other sync pairs and create a team with them. Together with the team, you can take part in the Pokémon Masters League and compete for the championship title.
Gameplay
In this version of the game, you will have 3-on-3 battles, unlike 1-on-1 battles in the original series. And they are played in real time. In this game, not only can Pokemon enter the battle, but also trainers can use their own moves in battles. Some Pokemon can only be pumped through personal missions.
The battles in the game are quite short, but dynamic and constantly keep the tension. The Pokémon Masters EX version will feature a number of anniversary updates. In particular, the synchronized pair Dragon-type from Sygna Suit Cynthia & Kommo-o will debut in the Spotlight Scout pair.
Graphics
The graphics in this game are at a decent level – high-quality animation and well-designed 3D models. The developers even drew anime characters. The battles are also well animated, as well as the characters in the game.
The developers of this game have achieved a level of quality that is absolutely worthy of the main parts of Pokémon, and connoisseurs of this series will appreciate the characters implemented in the game. It is also very interesting and pleasant to look at the trainers, and the creators made them perfectly, realizing that the monetization of the game is tied to collecting. There are rare trainers in the game, which fans will definitely want to get in their collection.
Pros
- Well-implemented 3D models;
- User-friendly interface and controls;
- Interesting game universe.
Cons
-
There is no clear storyline.
